I do so empathise with you. I sometimes think that people who say these things (it will make you stronger) have no idea of what it is like to live with chronic ill health.

Yes, I won't be sorry to see the back of this year either. I remember having had more fun. It can only get better for all of us.

That’s me too 🫤. My rheumy consultant made the mistake of saying ‘you look well’ before realising after an examination that I had bursitis in both hips. A stiff upper lip only gets you so far.
