Holiday in Cornwall in chronic pain.................

It was a hard journey down here and i didn't sleep very well due to the pain in my back and being in a different bed. Then this morning we picked my friend up from the airport and we went round a Japanese bonsai garden which was lovely then we came back to our apartment and by then not only my back but my knee was bad and has been ever since.I ended up in tears with the pain. I pray tomorrow will be a better day. Hugs to you all.xxxx

Wishing you well. I hope you get a refreshing sleep and can enjoy Cornwall without overdoing it.

I do hope so. Maybe stick to cream teas rather than lots of sightseeing?!

Rest up, maybe considering how bad you are, would a journey nearer to your home be less physically difficult? X

I'm leaving a short break in Eastbourne this morning, the Norfolk Coast is nearer for you is it not,

Eastbourne had lovely weather but a bit big and brash, beachy head beautiful though and the downs x

I don't mean to be rude but didn't you consider your ailments before even stepping out the front door ? With change of bed, routine, food, water not to mention any excursions you may go on. My husband and I are taking the g/children on holiday for a week to Norfolk in August and I'm making preperations now in order to cope with a 6 and 7 year old. Painkillers, walking stick, spare comfy shoes. You'll need a holiday to get over your holiday lol. Take care xxxx

Holidays can be very challenging can’t they ? I have not been away for over 5 yrs now, just can’t cope with it all. Take it easy Sylvi, take a couple of days just doing absolutely nothing, hopefully then you might feel better placed to start enjoying your time in Cornwall. Hope things improve for you soon, xx

From where you had to drive to Cornwall? I remember mine. (say no more)

A very pretty picture, by the way. Take care.

Aw Sylvi sorry to hear that. Hope yr feeling better now. We had lovely week on n coast of Cornwall x

Oh I do hope things improve for you Sylvi - you deserve a break (holiday/rest) so much. Hang on in there - I'm sure it will be worth it and that things will work out.

Thank you all for your comments. I feel a bit brighter today as we didn't go far just rested after gong into Looe. xxxx

Oh poop! I hope you feel better soon Sylvi. I overdid it a bit on my holiday too. I just rested the following day. It's annoying isn't it.

Loved reading about Shep's and your adventures Nettie: sounded fabulous and totally worth it, everyone needs to overdo it sometimes, makes you feel human again. Have a good rest and recovery you two x

PS think you should do 'woman and dog' blog and make some money - some of those were hilarious!
