My first proper holiday in ten years is starting at 4.00 a.m tomorrow morning when we head for Manchester, fly into Venice and from there cruise Italy, Greece and Turkey for 12 days. The weather is stunning!
Itβs been a crap year for health - massive stress in February (during uncontrolled RA) when we moved my cantankerous 98 yr old father from Herefordshire to Shrewsbury to Assisted Living, in April a prolonged bout of bronchitis as my immunity is virtually non-existent, a herniated disc and nerve root compression in June which has just about cleared up but left me off balance - and to top it all a decayed tooth which joined the party in July and the ache and dental faffing about is ongoing but on antibiotics so ignoring it till I come back! Massive health anxiety - am I ever going to get back to my βnormalβ??
Wonβt be posting for two weeks, wonβt be thinking for two weeks - just eating, sunning, sipping cocktails and getting restored. All the best to everyone . Cheers! Xx

Enjoy Iβve done Barcelona to Venice on Celebrity it was good although hellishly expensive we did have coffee and cake at the really posh place on St Marks Square seen on TV with the orchestra playing. Get up early as the view from the balcony sailing in and out is a one off fantastic sight. I loved the Morano glass island. Relax and enjoy.xx
Cruising for me is the best for relaxation that is until you hit rough seas. I would think where you are going it'll be fine. I bet your insurance was high declaring all of your new health issues.
Sounds perfect especially after the long run of RA issues youβve had to deal with. Go & enjoy & indulge in all the cruise has to offer you truly deserve it, happy holidays π³οΈποΈποΈπ
