I wrote earlier about whether I should cancel having my Covid vaccination done this week because I now have a chest infection. I have now found that I should not have it done. I am rather concerned because I am so overdue with having it as I had to cancel it due to going into hospital last month.

don’t worry about it holly-willow I’ve only just had my 5th, things happen to get in the way. It’s beyond your control. Concentrate on looking after yourself and getting better, you can get your next one as soon as you are well 🤗

I’ve only just had my first booster a month ago. My case is unusual but I’ve also had to pause my RA meds (for 6 weeks to get that booster, then flu and pneumonia vaccines) and it’s often difficult and frustrating when we have to juggle things around such as this or being unwell. I hope you’re soon feeling better and get your booster. 🙏🏻💗

Don’t worry…….I’m older than you & have had to put off my 5th Covid vaccination because of other health issues.I keep getting email reminders from NHS , trying to  frighten me into making an appointment…..but I listen to my rheumatologist & he is deciding when/if I go ahead with it.The way I see it…..Covid19 is here for the foreseeable future…& I haven’t got time to wait for any sort of all clear to get on with my life. You have just been in hospital…..why don’t you have  a word with your rheumy team….they are the only people who know  when you should go ahead with another vaccination.I hope you get sorted out soon.

I've only just had my fourth vaccine. As NK has already said things get in the way sometimes and we have to go with the flow.

Hi Holly-willow, try not to worry although I know that's easier said than done. I'm sort of in the same situation at the moment. I've got infections having just had 3 lots of antibiotics, so I've had to miss my infusion and my flu jab. That and the fact that I've not had my metho for about 4 weeks.

I haven't had my 5th yet. Waiting as long as possible after retuximab infusion. I'm sure when you feel better you'll be able to rebook yours. Get well soon x
