I posted this about a month back, and just wanted to advise anyone interested that there was an interview with Merope Mills (the mum) on BBC Radio today. Woman's hour.

bbc.co.uk/programmes/m001cwy7

The interview is the first item in the program.

It covers similar ground to the original article in the Guardian, with those same important messages. Monitor the treatment as best you can, speak up when you feel or know that things are going wrong. Remember, there are 150 preventable deaths under the NHS each WEEK. Our trust in doctors should have limits, and like many experts, doctors can be guilty of arrogance and complacency. Beware weekends , bank holidays, and August, as the worst times for effective treatment.

Yes, I heard the interview - wonderful woman in such an awful position 🥹

Incredibly sad, glad the mothers doing all she can to raise awareness.

We should always be comfortable to voice our concerns to medical staff , sadly it's not as easy
