hi guy's it's a while since I posted lot has happened, I have managed to find myself another flat and I get the keys on 12 th September. I will move in over 2 weeks. My partner has at last started treatment for his terminal cancer, he is on immune therapy Infusions. He will have his second dose on this Friday. He had a lot of side effects during the first week and I was very worried. I have been flaring over this last month. I am so stressed,as I didn't think I would get anywhere to live and was worried about my partner. I am on benepali every week, but am finding by day 5 I am getting a lot of pain every where. The fatigue is back and am having to go for a nap after my work,I only work 6 hrs but it's manic work in a kitchen on breakfast. My hands are swollen and my fingerjoints just hurt so much. Am in the middle of packing and moving things on my own as Jim my partner cannot help as he is too weak and losing lots of weight! Well enough of me moaning for now.Taek care everyone.

Hi Carolsos. I'm glad to hear you've now found yourself another flat, at least that's something. You're both going through so much now and it's no surprise you're flaring with all that you have going on. I hope your partner finds some relief at least with his immmune meds and wish you both all the best to cope during such a very difficult time. xx
You’ve got a lot on your plate now.look after yourself and make sure you are kind to yourself xxxx
You are not moaning at all. You have a lot on and managing to cope and work and with Jim ill as well its a lot. SO hence flaring probably raising its head at you to try and tell you to slow down a bit. DO what you can when you can and rope in anyone you can to assist on packing. Big hugs x
Good luck with your move Carol 🙏🏻 and hope you get some help packing and lifting.
Thank you everyone for your lovely replies 🙂
You’re living with some of the biggest causes of stress whilst working on a physically demanding job - hope it helps that you are in the thoughts of us on here and hope that your new home is a place of peace for you
You have so much to deal with at the moment. You could do with some time off work whilst you're packing up so you can pace yourself because trying to do everything without help can only go on for so long before you come to a full stop. Have you no other family who can help at this time? Either way I really hope things start improving for you and your partner.
Sending huge hugs to you and yours
Sorry you are going through a difficult time, but good you’ve got a new flat for you both. Is worth contacting your rheumatologist for a steroid injection to help you through these next few weeks, or a short course of steroid tablets. I’m sure he’d understand with the stress you are currently under
Hi Carolsos, I'm happy for you about the new flat. I hope you'll settle in well and it will be a home. You have so much emotional and physical stress to deal with now, I don't know how you do it! No wonder you flare. I send you lots of hugs and best wishes. X
Sending you and your partner big gentle hugs. Is there no way you can do different duties in the kitchen? My apologies if you can't I don't really know your story, but thinking of you both.
Feel free to have a moan on here. It must be difficult with your partner so ill, and that means that your own condition seems too much to complain about as well - but on here, we understand what it's like. You do feel that you just have to get on with it!
I spoke to a guys who live above me and he have offered to help me move, such a relief! He has a friend with a van. I have nearly got the packing sorted and have moved probably 3/4 of my things to Jim's house and then when I move I can move them at my lesiure. Thank you for all your replies. Take care everyone
