I started taking15mg Rinvoq daily a week ago and have developed severe headaches. Headaches are not listed as a known side effect and I wondered if anyone else had had this experience please? If you have, did the headaches disappear once your body had got used to Rinvoq - how long did that take; did you stop taking the medication; were you given any medical advice as to what to do?
As usual these things happen on a Friday evening or a weekend when access to the team of medics that care for us are not available!
Thanking you in advance for any information.

Morning! I've been on Rinvoq for a few months now - no headaches here. I did have some stomach upset at first, so switched to taking it at night with dinner and that solved the problem for me. My doctor suggested that I try different time of day to figure out what worked best. By the way, this has been a miracle drug for me!! Good luck.
Thank you. I believe it was working for my RA. I take it in the morning with breakfast. Maybe as you say, I need to try different times of day. Take care
All sudden Headaches need medical advice…either call your GP or the rheumy nurse…..could be that Rinvoq affects some people that way…but best make sure. If you can’t contact either& the pain is really worrying you could try calling 111.
