Tocilizumab

Just tested positive for COVID, I am on tocilizumab and just finished a course of steroids. I'm dreading the week ahead.

My colleagues have been quite poorly with it. Is anyone else on tocilizumab and had COVID x

Take heart = my 50 year old nephew on biologics and just completed a course of steroids has it. but it seems to be no worse than a heavy head cold. Hope your dose is mild. x

Yes, me 🙂🙋🏻‍♀️I am on Tocilizumab, have just recovered from Covid and on my last day of 20,15,10 &5 of Prednisolone (4 week course)

Hi. I am 70 and tested positive for covid on 8 Jan. I am also on tocilizumab. My partner tested positive 8 days ago so i am blaming him for. He has been in bed solid since then and just came down today. Luckily i have cold or mild flu like symptoms and it doesn’t seem to be getting any worse fingers crossed. And it seems manageable to me. I do take night nurse and a whisky in the evening which seems to be okay !! Good luck and hopefully yours will also be a mild dose. Regards lin

I had it in December, like you I was dreading it, luckily all was ok and recovered quite quickly, I have been left with an annoying cough at night though. Hope you are ok 👍
