I get my toci by iv infusion once a month and love it that way. I used to be on humira and the metoject pen was extremely easy. I was also on kineret (Anakinra) and it was a daily injection. It kinda sucked, glad it did not work for me as I did not like poking myself daily.

I guess I am lucky here in BC Canada as my rheumy has an infusion room in his office. This way he and his nurse monitor patients while receiving their infusions.

I find the weekly injections a doddle and tocilizumab has changed my life; it was my 5th biologic

Listen don’t worry I was on a previous one that hurt like hell. Moved to Tocilizumab and I had to check it went in. The only reason I knew it had was it left a little bubble on my skin. I honestly have never felt a thing and it is so easy and quick.

Just make sure you take it out the fridge for 15 minutes before you inject as it can sting a bit
