Pain in lungs

Hellooo I have had the most terrific pain in my upper back lungs region ( I think) I have been on 20mgs of prednisone for 5 weeks as waiting on getting a new biological therapy

I’m wondering if I should contact dia doc in the morning

Any advice greatly appreciated TIA

If you're breathless or breathing is even slightly uncomfortable call 999, otherwise I suggest 111.

Well I would. Unusual (for you) pain is worth having examined. With being on pred I'd have thought it's less likely to be inflammatory pain but you never know so, yes, I’d see GP on Monday. Even if it turns out to be muscular you have peace of mind. You have my empathy, if it is lung pain it's painful.

Could be an infection, so call docs as others have said.

Hope you've managed to speak to a Dr, I too have severe pain in the upper back left region, initially dr diagnosed pleurisy & gave antibiotics, these didn't work so sent me for a chest xray, waiting on results. Let us know how you get on x

The simple answer is, Yes. if you haven't already do it today.you should have phoned the NHS helpline when it first started. you are not alone in saying, I'll give it a few more days. some things you shouldn't take chances with. they are there to help.
