According to my consultant since June this years the price of this drug has dropped and the DAS thresshold to receive it has lowered. I got the news I will be soon recieving this biologic and coming of Methotrexate from next year. Fingers crossed my body can hack it.

Yes it is good news. NICE lowered the das score to make a few biologics more available for us.
Adalimumab (Amgevita) has been a life changer for me … I’ve been on it for about a year now, although I still inject methotrexate as well. Good luck. 👍

Amazing. Am hoping for my first delivery of adalimumab (Idacio) in the next few weeks 🤞🏻 so good to hear positive stories
I think NHS has realised that whist still expensive it saves an enormous amount of faffing around and this also equates to cash. I have been on Adalimumab for 19 weeks now and I am entirely free of joint pain and other RA symptoms. Only downsides I have seen are it tends to make your sinuses very stuffy at night and hard to breath through your nose without using nasal sprays.
