Not personally, but my brother had a bone spur in his shoulder removed with keyhole surgery. It was day case and he recovered quickly. He had follow up physio to get full movement back. Hope your surgery goes well.

I had surgery to remove a bone spur in my shoulder that was limiting my movement and causing pain but It was some time ago now and I had a large incision. My neighbour had the same operation by keyhole years later and his recovery was so much quicker and he was not in hospital as long. Try not to be too nervous, just think about being able to move your shoulder properly again and without pain, it’ll be so worth it 😊 Good luck

Yes, I’ve had two, due to have a 3rd next week. I know. Blessed aren’t I? Seriously recovery time and pain much less than normal cut you open surgery. Hope it goes well.

I haven't had this personally but two of my friends have had it done in the past year. It takes some time to recover from it and a lot of physio but both of them have recovered well. Good luck.

I actually had shoulder surgery a few weeks ago for persistent bursitis. It was a really quick operation and I was given a regional block so I was awake throughout the whole thing. I had virtually no pain after the operation and the recovery is going well. So absolutely no need to get worried. Good luck with your surgery!

Yeah I had an arthroscopic decompression a few years ago because my left should had completely seized up. Op was fine very glad I had it done because I wasn’t able to use my left arm for best part of 18 months before I had it done. Make sure you keep up with the physio afterwards but in my case it hasn’t recurred 🤞. Definitely wouldn’t hesitate to have it done again.

I had keyhole surgery on my right shoulder 13 months ago. They removed a large bone spur that had been giving me problems for years. There was minimal pain after the surgery but I had to wear a shoulder sling 24/7 afterwards. That made for a certain degree of discomfort. You will be glad you had it done!
