Sunday of rest

Hello all. And happy fathers to all the dads on here. I’ve had a mad few days so today I have no option but to rest. On Friday I took my daughter and friend to the theatre - which was amazing - however 40 mins into the 50 min drive my car oil light came on. Thankfully I have amazing friends that saved us and we got to the theatre on time. However standing for half an hour in the rain didn’t do me any favours. And yesterday I was driving a lot again. So today I must rest - I don’t really have any choice as I can’t move. I am so stiff and sore. Hope everyone has a lovely Sunday whatever you’re doing xx

Thank you. My lovely daughters want to take me out for dinner for Father’s Day (I’m a single mum) but I don’t think I have the energy. Maybe I’ll convince them to order a take away xx

Well done for getting to the theatre, I'm a great lover of live theatre and can't wait until they can open up properly. Can I ask you - how was it and did it have the same atmosphere ?

It was fantastic. It’s actually the third time we’ve been since the closures, and this was the best atmosphere. They had life size cutouts of celebrities on the seats that we’re not used so it looked like a full audience. It was Six the musical and I highly recommend.

What a brilliant idea with the cardboard cutouts, I'll look out for Six the musical. We had Dream Girls booked for last year but of course everything got cancelled, hopefully we can start booking again soon.
