I'll get this one in before this site closes for the day.
Well i have had a rough night.Last night i sat down here andnstarted to get a pain in my right boob. It was sore to touch. It has lasted all night. It keeps moving round. Not sure what it is anyone have any ideas, could it be ra or fibro.
My ra is having a field day with my hands. They are sore and horrible they are giving me a hard time. Now i know that the mtx was working, its not now as i am not allowed to take it until i go back to see them at the hospital. I keep wondering what the next thing will be thrown at me.
The weather is lovely and i have washing on the line. Hope you all have a lovely day.

Poor you re the painful boob and the hands. It is good at least to know that the MTX works so well though - hope you are allowed back on it very soon Sylvi. Here the weather is rather lovely too for once - I'm having a lazy day today but will take the dog out for a walk later while my son his having his weekly maths coaching with a dear old chap who insists on doing this for nothing - so I've baked him some lemon drizzle cake today for his efforts! Probably the result of the poor thing being smashed in the Mammogram machine! A bruise working to the surface L. xx
HI Sylvi i wonder if it could have been all the prodding at the mammogram (never been at one just assumed thats what they do) Or it could be secondary pain from shoulder, back or neck. I usually get it right underneath right boob.
Mads, isn't it nice to be too young for something. You don't get one until your over 50,you lucky thing. There was a lot of prodding, but surely i would have been suffering on friday and late saturday evening. You could be right though.
I get pain in the boob from time to time - my GP said it is quite normal (having given me a good examination as I have a history of breast cancer) and is usually due to hormone changes. Even through the menopause, you still get hormonal changes in the body and I still find that my remaining boob gets very uncomfortable round about the time I would normally have had a period in the past. My mother had the same problem and was told the after effects of the menopause can last for 20 years! Oh joy. (after all it takes many years to get going in the first place).
You've had a mammogram - if anything was wrong, it will show it for further investigation but try not to worry. I don't normally get any pain from having my boob squashed in the mammogram machine but a lot depends on how big you are as to how much squashing goes on! A friend of mine has what my dad always called sparrows kneecaps (!) and she is always in a lot of pain after the mammogram. I had mine done before Xmas and everything was fine. I heard about 10 days later so hopefully you will hear soon that all is ok.
