I get this rash on my face before or after a flare

I keep getting this red rash same place everytime left side just up on cheek,its not very big

has anyone else have it?

Both my cheeks go very red when I don't feel so well and calm down when I'm on the mend.

I get a red flush/rash when I've overdone things and am starting with a bit of a flare. Does yours feel hot too? I case tell if I'm getting a red flush because my face feels really warm.

That's a good idea to photograph the rash to show to your rheumatologist. I'd take as many pictures as you can with dates if possible. It all helps with diagnosis.

Hi Fionaherts, its sort of like nettle rash, hives bit only one in one area, when it goes quiet,its like little tiny brown blistery rash, same place same area

its weird

its started really long before my joint pains, and it would feel like a nerve pain but no pain now when it comes up

I first thought it was shingles a long time ago, then as time went and it didn't come up again I forgot about it,then I thought I been bitten but now it seems to come up everytime I have a flare up,I have been tested for lupus not because of rash because I forgot at time to mention it because it was quiet for a long time so didn't see any connection,but I was tested for lupus as my hair was coming out but that was negative only RA pos

That's interesting, I hope you find an answer! Is it itchy like hives? Is there any link between your flares and what you've eaten do you think? Definitely worth mentioning to your rheumatologist and show him the photos and date linked to your flares if there's a correlation.

Sounds quite different from what I get, my rash just goes, no marks left.
