Lump on palm of my hand

Hey guys has anyone had a lump on the palm of your hand? I have a big lump that is hard on my Palm and when my palm is flat it sticks up! It hurts, do you think it's worth ringing the doctors or my rumey people? Am sorry to keep posting, but everything seems to be coming at the same time! Thanks for listening.

Hi Carolsos,I’d get it checked but it sounds like Depuytrens contracture. I had it recently and it was quite painful and developed into a pointy lump. The doctor said I might need surgery later on if it started to pull the fingers down but amazingly it just went away. x

Hi Carolsos, sounds like duyputrens issue. I had this for several years and my fingers where beginning to pull inwards. When diagnosed I went to the hand clinic and had a very quick operation, performed under local anaesthetic which solved the issue instantly. After 10 years it is slowly developing again but I was told to expect this by the doctor who carried out the procedure. Good luck.

Sounds like Depuytens which I have on both hands. So far not too troubling. Always worth getting it checked out though.

I have too! It s in the shape of a 2 pronged fofk with a small nodule in the middle of the fork if that makes sence. I've had mine looked all normal and it can happen. Mine does not hurt anymore. But I'm not advising against getting it checked out! Always best for piece of mind
