Flare up

Hello everyone. I was wondering if anyone has had a flare up after taking the Covid vaccine. I read a lot on the internet that medications like prednisone should be avoided. This will help the immune system mount a good response. My regular painkillers aren’t working well too. Any thoughts will be appreciated.

Many thanks

I did after my second dose, it only lasted 72hrs but I’m fairly sure it was triggered by the vaccine as I have been well controlled for a long while now.

I had a flare about ten days after my first vaccination but nothing after the second. I think, looking back, that it was just co-incidence, not the cause of the flare, although the stress of actually reaching the centre on the first occasion might have had something to do with it - it had frozen, then snowed, so not an easy journey!

Does stress cause flare ups in general. My stress levels have been though the roof lately

Stress loves RA .. any stress mentally or physically can trigger a flare

I havent been too great after my 2nd dose too. I have psoriasis and my skin hasn't been so bad in ages but I am quite stressed atm cause I am having an operation on Thursday so this doesn't help matters, I need to relax more😂stress plays a huge part I think also in flare ups😉
