Yes, indeed. So many things beside just the damage of the joints. From here, it is so important that RA must be kept under control as soon as possible.

I am very sorry that you have been diagnosed with RA. However, work closely with your rheumy. Though the journey is painful and may take some months or years, but once you get the right drugs to treat your RA, you can have your life back.

I had posted a lot of useful videos and tips since long ago, just visit my profile and choose what you find useful to you and read them up. I believe some will be very helpful to you.

You are very much welcome. The purpose of us all here is to support each other.

I have been in remission since Nov 2015 after a year and a half treatment. Basically I already have my normal life back since except that my joints are not as strong before but I don’t have any pain so far.

To achieve remission, you need to start the treatment early and not to worry too much about the side effects of the drugs. Not all will get the side effects also. If you do have, let your rheumy knows and work with him closely.
