Thanks to those who responded to my previous question. I just wanted to say that my GP has referred me to a private rheumatologist, who before seeing me has asked for a considerable number of blood test to be done. I went to the surgery this morning and the bloods were taken. I guess I’ll be offered an appointment with the consultant after the tests are back.

Meantime, my knees are much improved, but having some lesser discomfort in my shoulders, neck and upper back. Doctor is reducing my PPI (I had gastritis during January), but I’m having some bloating and gassy ness. Hoping this will settle as really dont want to go back to the 40mg dose. Am on 20mg now.

Great news Isobel but it a shame you have to seek a private consultation. Regardless of that, I hope all goes well for you. Good luck with it. 🤞 x

Great news - with private, they go a little deeper for me; he did a CCP test, not the CRP, when I got a definite diagnosis. I hope all goes well - keep us posted 🙂🌸- Hessie

Excellent news. You will have saved yourself some money by having the GP do the blood tests. I hope you get your appointment with the consultant soon and get a diagnosis.
