Are you part of a local group, or have friends locally who would get them for you? This is also something that perhaps the new army of volunteers would be able to do so I hope you have registered as in need of help.

But that is a heck of a lot of paracetamol! Isn’t the maximum dose 4 x 500g tablets a day? Could your doctor suggest something else perhaps ?

I take 2 tabs, 3 or 4 times daily,I already take dihydro-codeine twice a day and definitely don't want to up those as so addictive and take the paracetamol as advised by my Rhuemy

Paracetamol is completely safe up to and including 1000mg four times a day, leaving four hours between doses.

I went to my local chemist who was limiting customers to one box of 32 each. I explained that my rheumy nurse had advised me to take 8 a day because I was flaring so he let me have 2 boxes. Might be worth trying small chemists.

Phew! I take 1000g tablets, so only ever take 4.....which is why I had 4 fixed in my brain.

Contact your GP practice. Is your MTX being prescribed by your GP? If so, maybe they could prescribe some for you both.
