Hi everyone just a quik question, since we are all grounded like naughty teenagers are you all still hitting Tesco for your groceries or ordering on-line? I don't know what to do or put my N95 mask on if I go out for a walk, this is all so very strange.

I’m ordering online and relying on healthy family members, who take necessary precautions, to assist when necessary. My understanding is if I’m one of the high risk groups, we should stay away from super markets etc x

I seen on TV if ordering on-line it would be a good idea to clean all produce packaging with hot soapy water.

I'm social distancing not isolating - yet- so I'm not going to the big shops. I just go to my local shops if I need anything or make my husband go !

I’m really lucky as I have quite a lot of small shops 2 minutes walk away..

That's good! I have a couple too and they are always super helpful and have lots of stock in

Yes stock levels are very good and some of them are now saying they’ll deliver too, not that I need them to but others might.

Most on line slots are not available for 2 weeks or more. Please do try and limit the amount of times you go out do a big shop once a week if you can’t get a delivery.I have friends working in hospitals and they are very scared they told me not to go out and clean all the door handles in the house regularly c19 lives on metal for quite some time

No deliveries here until April. I’ve gone to the local CoOp. Loads of stuff on their shelves still. I’ve also ordered from Gousto as I had a voucher.

Veg box companies are in demand. A local veg company that usually delivers to restaurants is doing domestic deliveries now which is fabulous. I’m much happier using local companies as they will die if no one uses them. Supermarkets will survive. I will potentially lose everything, my home, everything as my clients are hospitality and healthcare. The podiatrists are as busy as ever which may save us. Hotels and restaurants are in a terrible way. Spoke to three yesterday and they are in tears. It’s horrendous.

Please support your local shops 🥰🥰🙌

I'm so sorry to hear of your troubles. I hope the latest government proposals to support businesses will help to a degree. It's an awful situation

I have been trying to put in an online order this morning. First slot on Asda is April! However, the site is playing up so will not complete my order. Even went on Ocado (expensive) and it said I was in a queue and was number 6262 in the line! I will have to actually go to the shop and hope they have products in. Haven't even been able to buy eggs locally! I understand that from tomorrow Sainsburys will be keeping the first hour for elderly and vulnerable. Perhaps I'll go there and hope. I'm 66 and have many health problems and also am carer for my 88 year old mother.

I ve discovered the benefits of my local bakery who do a great sausage roll and an ordinary coffee ..plus my corner shop who sells plenty of toilet roll., essentials and drink

..and puts it in plastic bags. Not bad, lol!

I went to both Lidl and Tesco yesterday, it will be the last time I go, it was like Armageddon ☹️ I was just doing my usual monthly shop, not overbuying, I got everything I needed as I live on basics anyway and usually have a stock of 'cupboard' stuff anyway.

I'm not worried for myself but I'm concerned for my elderly parents who live 2 hours away, however they don't seem concerned! "Oh we're ok so and so is going to get such and such" (they live in a sheltered flat). I can do them an online delivery but as has been said there are hardly any slots! 😟

I think small local shops are the way to go as they are better stocked and only require a quick nip out. Stay safe everyone!

That situation crossed my mind. I haven't done an online shop for a while but I don't think I've ever had one where everything was available.
