Yes really good for the hands and you can buy it all on Amazon too if not wanting to go out to shops.

I had some wax bath therapy via the occupational health a little while ago now. It is soothing and some say it gives relief for others it doesn't. I found it gave temporary relief for a few hours, so I looked up on Amazon with the recommendation of the occupational health and got one at a reasonable price. The ones the hospital tend to use look a bit like they should be used in catering as they are stainless steel and quite expensive. So wonder if you have chance to try it first through Occupational Health to see if it will benefit you before buying one.

I tried a hand wax at the spa and didn't find it useful at all, it was very unpleasant. Like others have said it might be useful to have a trial at the local OH or spa first, before spending lots of money ? Good luck.

I had this a few times many years back, when my disease was not under control, given by a physiotherapist. I found it very soothing at the time of receiving it and for a short while afterwards. It does not have a long lasting effect. As I was really suffering I really appreciated the temporary relief. I do wonder how hygienic the wax bath was with multiple users. I don’t think they used fresh wax for each patient. That wouldn’t be an issue with one of your own.

I didn't know they still did wax baths, my grandmother suffered with osteoarthritis in her hands and I vaguely remember her having wax at her hospital in the 1960's must be worth a go 👍

I've had wax bath and it was soothing. Hospital physio told to stop using them due to hygiene concerns with multiple uses.

I got myself one after having some wax baths at a pain clinic. I find it very pleasant and soothing. It relieves the pain for a short time, but then if you have your own you can do it every day and that will help. The one I have is a few years old now and the make is Beurer and I think it was bought from Amazon.

I only wish I could put my whole back and legs into it!

I had a wax bath about a month ago. Very pleasant and seemed to help the joints in my hands but I didn’t find it long-lasting. My skin did feel beautifully smooth afterwards 😊

Thanks think I’ll give it a go I have an open mind not expecting miracles but smoother hands will be a bonus!
