Bath rooftop spa pool: always fancied this

My husband and I had a couple of days in Bath just after Easter. We visited the Spa and had a great time. Floating around in the warm water was very relaxing and lovely for aching joints. There was quite a long queue but definitely worth waiting for. If you pre book a treatment you can jump the queues and just turn up at your allotted time, however they book up quite quickly.
Don't even try to park in Bath it's in short supply and breathtakingly expensive. Park and ride is excellent. The Pump Rooms, the Abbey oooh, so many lovely places. If you go online you can pick out what you want to see and I'm only a bit jealous. Enjoy!
We went to Bath for a few days, three years ago. Love it. The Roman Baths are a must, they are next to the Abbey. Also Sally Lunns is a must for the famous bath buns, they have a little museum too. Take a bus tour round, you can buy a ticket and get on and off where you fancy. Look on Trip-advisers for places to eat. We found a great fish restaurant near our hotel on the Bath Road. Sorry can’t remember the name now, but was on there. Enjoy. X
If you fancy a treat, the pump rooms beside the Roman baths do an excellent afternoon tea.
If you are able the walking tour of the city is very great, especially if you have a good guide. We also went to the thermo baths and swam in the roof top pool, had a massage and then lunch. There is also a good theatre depending on what’s on.
Have a brilliant time - it is a lovely city - lots of retail therapy too.
Was there in March and we did the sight seeing bus as you can hop on and off at various points so cuts down on the walking. Baths and pump room and of course afternoon tea in one of the many tea rooms. Enjoy your stay x
