How long is the wait for assessment I've been waiting 19 week's, I've phoned them three times and been to citizen advice and they phoned but got no where.

I had a home assessment set up within 7 weeks. I also got a text to remind me too

I believe it is, officially, within 13 weeks, but actually, up to 8 months. (They say don't worry, your pay will be backdated, if you succeed). But I want to know what do you live on in the meantime?

Exactly they don't seem to understand what it's like and how hard it is to have no income and need to rely on family.

I applied January and had assessment end of April and decision end of August. It’s not quick at all and very stressful. M x

First application was January. Assessment in April ( they said no) mandatory December they said yes .. all backdated to January. A lot of work involved.. sent all my post by proof of delivery . 3 separate times they said it arrived too late and once not received at all.. proof of delivery gives date time and signature. Pays to be one step ahead. Good luck

I got my my reassessment because my pip had run out within a month off my letter at home and just waiting on result,had a text to say they’ve received it xxx
