I get shin pain .. I’ve notice it’s after a prolonged stiffness in my ankles. Is this part of RD? I put nearly everything down to RD

Hi there yes I get that too as well as bones in forearms. I find ice packs help a bit and paracetamol .

Yes, it is referred pain. Before treatment it was like a vice around my upper arms. The pain in my lower legs occurred when I was sitting still. My doctor wondered whether I had fibromyalgia but it turned out to be RA.

Interesting. I am presently unable to use my home blood pressure monitor (don’t use it regularly anyway) because of strong pain in my upper arms. As the monitor tightens the pain gets so bad that it must be pushing my blood pressure and pulse rate up - and now of course the anticipation of the pain also affects it.

Thought I had developed a very low pain threshold! Hoping that the professional ones are a bit more gentle.

Yes I get bone pain too., in my upper arms and shins mainly although pressure on any part of my body causes pain.

It's altogether less painful when the RD is better controlled.
