I would see your GP if this is happening a lot as there are many causes of dizziness. I get very anaemic due to my RA which makes me dizzy. Best to get checked out though 😊
During a flare I get dizzy often accompanied with fatigue
Rheumatoid Disease can be associated with dizziness if it affects the cervical spine, but there are many other causes. Is it a feeling of rotation, or of feeling faint? It's a good idea to keep a record of what you were doing just before it happened as that can help with the diagnosis, e.g. tipping your head back, getting up from lying down to standing, after a meal, etc. But you need to have a diagnosis from your medical team if it continues.
I get it sometimes with the RA and also when flairing
Thanks for posting this question and for the replies as I have been getting feelings of dizziness and just put it down to possible low blood pressure which hasn't been confirmed. So I've learned that there can be an association with RD if it affects the cervical spine and also fatigue which I seem to have most of the time at the moment. I wonder if it had anything to do with a nasty attack of vertigo in the summer as I have never had or wish for this again. Hope you find out what is causing your dizziness cp02. Take care
Hi - You did not say which kind of "arthritis " - I have lots of OA and degeneration in my neck and that can cause be to be dizzy. Not saying you have that but you meed checking with GP.
Hi cpr02. Are you on medication? Could it be a side effect of that?
Hi yes I'm on methotrexate folic acid and venaflaxine x
Also, be sure you get lots of water. Your ears need water in order to maintain your Balance.
IF you are older, be sure to get some Vit. B-12 .
