Dizziness with Abatacept
I’m on the injections and you do get better as time goes on hope this helps
I was on weekly injections initially and suffered from massive migraines. However, as I am petite, I agreed with my consultant thatt the weekly dose was probably too much for me and and I dropped to fortnightly injections which I took for five years. Was a wonder drug for me until I started getting a reaction at the injection site. I suspect the infusion means your body was hit with a massive initial dose so it may just take time to adjust. Good luck
Hi J. I have been on Abatacept injections for 2and a half years. When I first started I didn't feel dizzy but kind of off kilter sometimes. When I was walking my dog I felt myself drifting slightly to one side but that feeling subsided after a few weeks and now never have that sensation.
I was doing it by injection but it was stopped 2 weeks ago as I've got Discoid Eczema and a toenail infection and for the first time in 30 years a gum infection and it didn't really work that well. The Discoid is linked to anti TNF meds so keep your eye on the skin.
