Hello all, got my letter for appointment for hospital and heading states notification of tapering clinic Appoitments. As I thought all down to money I googled tapering clinic appointments and a lot of information came up about this. Take a look so you can be aware of this for future reference.

No reading up about what my appointment is for is reducing my injections. I only see the consultant once a year and the nurse once a year. If they reduce my dose I was told I would seen 4 times a year.
Sorry I misunderstood! I thought you meant tapering the frequency of appointments!
I agree with KittyJ that it’s good news. All the literature has as an aim to identify the lowest doses of drugs that will keep you under control. That way also lowers the risks of the nasty secondary effects too.
But surely that’s good news if you can take less drugs but still have your RA under the same control ? I hope it works for you and look forward to it perhaps happening to me in future 😊
Yes I would like less drugs but looking at some of the trials when they start reducing the dose you can flare up and I have been quite well the last two years and would like to continue that way.
