Hello

Pregablin every day for me, I don’t feel half as light headed and anxious as I did on Gabapentin, I had a physio who told me that a lot of people struggle with Gabapentin and wasn’t surprised when I changed, i am actually on another genereric version of it called Lecaent now, which is the same just cheaper, I have been on it for 3 I guess and I take it for nerve damage caused by a disc i had removed in my back.

Good luck with it

I couldn’t take Pregabalin , it wiped me out. I swapped to Gabapentin and no side effects. Think you will have to try them to see what suits you as we all react differently to drugs.

I took gabapentine for 15 years I don't take it now . I did try pregabalin and I had terrible headaches , my hair started to fall out so I went back to the old faithful . I preferred it but lots of people like the other . Good luck whichever you choose x

I've been on Gabapentin for 4 years now. It's for nerve damage and fibromyalgia which I also have and it seems to work for me as if I miss a dose my pain levels are up. Only problem I had was a bit of weight gain but I now swim and do a bit of aquafit to keep it down a bit! M x

I tried gabapentin first & despite increasing the dose to what was thought would be a therapeutive level for whatever reason it didn't help. Pregabalin however does work very effectively for me. I take 150mg morning & evening. Unfortunately I think it's a case of suck it & see with both.
