Pregabalin Fingers ?.

Ive just started on the above and think it has affected my middle finger joints , never before have i experienced this. Could it be the above thats causing this.

Doesn’t sound very likely to me. What does the patient leaflet say?

I’m o. Pregablin never had this problem. Might be a coincidence and it’s your RA . Best get it checked

Doubtful…..try to take the prescribed meds & accept that new symptoms appear all the time with this disease….hopefully the meds will start to work & your swellings will disappear!

I do think we should try not to blame RA meds for symptoms….which are different from side effects. Of course if your finger swelling continues mention it at your next RA appointment.

Never had RA have taken for what i think is severe sciatica, I suffered spinal nerve damage during op 12 years ago battled on ever since. Due for another mri soon but never had stiff middle finger joints before , is it pregabalin caused not sure. Will stop today see what happens.

Oh sorry i didnt know that i thought it was about general and pregabalim /gabapentin.

Yes, it could well be the cause. Its a side effect that does happen but its uncommon. I'm on pregabalin and the list of side effects is horrendous I think. But, I was given it for anxiety and it worked really well for me. Speak to your doctor about it. Good luck
