Methotrexate shortage

Anyone else experiencing a shortage of methotrexate pens? HC@H only delivered half of what I was suppose to receive.

I am no longer on MTX due to side effects.

I’ve not experienced any problems. My Methotrexate is dispensed by my GP dispensary.

I'm due my bimonthly prescription in 2 weeks. I'll let you know how I get on. I'm in Scotland.

I've not had a problem. Mine aren't supplied by Healthcare at Home though, my GP issues my repeat scripts & I have them filled by my local chemists. When her regular pharmaceutical supplier is out of stock the Pharmacist will ring round others to get them.

Might be a mistake? People do make them...! I presume you have contacted them?

I request my Metoject from GP and collect from Pharmacy opposite the surgery. No problems as yet, but just ordered another batch ...

I get mine from the hospital, no problems last week.

I used to but they stopped it.

You need to talk to the head pharmacist and explain that this will be a regular prescription which is urgent. Ask what the situation is.

Unfortunately it's with health care at home so no chance of speaking to a pharmacist.

They have to come from somewhere? Ask whoever you get them from.... who is the supplier and speak to them. X
