Some people do use it and from what has been said, it helps some BUT not everyone, it works for a lot of pain but that's just general chat and what you read about. I dare say give it a go and let us know what you think.

Put CBD in search box top right and you get some discussions about it. Some people find it helpful, others don't!

This is about the full spectrum CBD oil with thc. I'm a Prison Officer and wouldn't dream of taking it but if it's legalised, I'd try it in a heartbeat!! Hopefully it's coming our way and from chatting to pals in the USA with RA then it's most definitely worth a go!!! 🤞🤞

I'm already on morphine bottle and patch lol, I have many illnesses and I think that pain is the worse thing in the world, so if it works then sod the law and take it. I hope it does get legal, there are a lot of children out there who need HELP and they need this help NOW.

I use cannabis oil and paste. The oil from Bud Utopia definitely helps me sleep well. It is rather trial and error!

I've been using it for 8 months. It's helped me finally get off oxy. Love it so much I started selling it. They have isolate drops... that has NO thc. But the regular drops are legal in all 50 states. Because it contains less than the legal limit of .3 thc. It can not get you high.

I'm also on Belbuca mouth patch. And that's a very new one. But extremely effective. And you get no high from that either.

I have ra and lupus and fibromyalgia. And spinal injuries and stenosis. And several fusions with wires.

I lived on a couch fir years

Now... I'm living life again. I'm also on methotrexate and Humira. But.. whatever it takes.

It's probably a lot to do with the drugs u take.

I was diagnosed with RA in January 2018 with a high RF factor of 265. I had originally complained of stiffness and low level pain in most joints . All of my blood work though was indicating there was no inflammation (no swelling either). My rheumatologist said if I can work hard on a very healthy lifestyle: exercising cutting out gluten, focusing on keeping a healthy gut (which is using probiotics), eating very clean and including Alpha Omega three, Tumeric ( inflammation fighting supplements ) we could try and see whether we can keep inflammation away and therefore off MTX or any of the other toxic drugs out there.

I saw an incredible program too on CNN about the medicinal effects of CBD oil (No THC) and I have been taking 10 mg of pure oil per day as well. The result is, I have no swelling, no pain, no stiffness and we are now almost through June so I firmly believe the research that there are incredibly powerful medicinal qualities to CBD that are yet untapped (and it’s key what you intakeinto your body).

I'm going to try it before I take methotrexate I've been prescribed

I should add I’m in California where it’s legal so it’s a lot easier for me I realise😬

Yes apparantly the cannabis oil in UK which is legal doesn't do much.

Currently in the UK it is illegal for anybody to advise on types of CBD or doses and how to start using it (it is legal to sell so long as there is less than 0.02% THC - the psychotic bit). Unfortunately without clear advice on what and how many people find it is of no use and give up. If anybody is interested have a look at the Facebook group CBD Consumers Group UK/EU.

Like Health Unlocked they don’t give medical advice but do share experiences. The Administrators all have their own health problems and are very knowledgeable. It is a closed group so nobody trying to sell anything!

I went off my pharma meds in favour of high quality cbd. I have had excellent results. One of my doctors also has RA and treats it with cbd oils. She was using a walker but no more!!! I was part time in a wheelchair and now I’m back to my usual activities. Its also helped with digestion, sleep, anxiety. It helps with pain AND inflammation.

True not everyone experiences this however dosage and quality of oils matters along with diet which is extremely important.

Hey Rheumagal, what dosage do u take? I know CBD is, as of yet, a kind of unknown (until big pharmaceuticals get a hold) but someone I spoke to, using it post cancer, takes 10mg a day so that’s what I’ve been doing. It used to be a dropper full of the oil but now I’ve gone to a capsule form for the exact 10mg.

Thanks, Helen.

Hello! I am right now taking 1ml dropper full 3x/day. The cbd concentration is 25mg per 1ml. I sometimes make my own capsules or add directly to food. The latter seems to be the most effective for symptom relief as consuming with food increases bioavailability or absorption.

I have found that combing the oils with other changes has been the best at helping my disease!

The problem is I wouldn't know which CAnna bis oil to buy or where as don't want to waste money on rubbish and it's not legal in UK. Any suggestions of what u recommend.

I’m not sure what you have in the UK. I’m in Canada and I went to a medical cannabis clinic for medical cannabis prescribed by a Doctor. I see others are using different products. I would recommend researching this option. I see there are some resources online for medical marijuana in UK. It may not yet be a legal option where you live.

While the capsules can help. It's best used under your tongue. It absorbs better in the body. If you swallow them... you waste some in the acid in your belly.
