Morning all I take methotrexate and hydroxychioquine is it safe to take this oil been told it's really good for pain relief. Regards Paul

It didn't work for y husband who isn't taking RA drugs.

We can not advise you if it is safe to take as we are not medically trained. I would talk to your rheumy or nurse as they have your medical history and are best to advise you. 😊

Paul, I take CBD oil though not frequently as it costs so much.

There are no interactions to be concerned about. I took it while taking the two DMARDs you mention and asked Rheumatology specialist who had no objection.

There are different strengths and people are affected differently too. For effective relief it does need to be taken at least twice a day and did not work as fast as drugs might, for me anyway.

I have paste in stock too, bought from flora fusion site.

Oils I buy are Improve Me brand from Grapetree stores.

I asked my Rhumatology nurse before starting this as I was on biologics , they didn’t have a problem me taking it if it helped! Unfortunately for me I found no improvement in my condition or pain levels, it just put a £30 hole in my pocket 😂 good luck I hope it helps you, all you can do is try it, some people have reported a better nights sleep while taking it🤗 x

I’ve been taking CBD for 18 months. With no problems. Have had to stop it now as it can thin the blood and I am having spinal surgery on Monday. Stopping it makes me realise how much it helps. All the doctors I see are aware I take it and have no problems.

I am still on methotrexate, hydroxychloroquine and abatacept.
