I had something similar ( ages ago so things may have improved) but when my hands were playing up & painful I couldn't press the "clicker" so when I really needed it I couldn't use it...so I never found out if it worked!

Pressing the clicker seems to have been a fairly common problem but the newer Paingone+ only needs to be clicked on once to give a treatment of 30 seconds then clicked off again.

I have used one for work. It was suggested by OH nurse. It did help a bit but quite expensive as you need to replace the refill quite a lot

Our local Gwent group tried one out when someone came to talk to us about how a pharmacist can help. We weren't very impressed as it was difficult to operate with our stiff and weak hands. It might be useful if you just had one place that hurt!

Hi Tillie, bought a Paingone + three days ago for finger/ hand pain and it is having some effect although not the instant pain relief I'd hoped for. Reading literature a bit more thoroughly I see that it mentions that relief may take 48 hours so I'm going to persevere with it. Hope you find some relief

Hi Tillie, after using the Paingone + over 48 hours there has been a reduction in severity of pain in hands, it's by no means gone but not so severe and I'll keep using the Paingone in the hope of continued improvement. Hoping you have the same, or better, results with yours. X
