Poor you. Mine were always puffy at my worst wth RA but now they are more under control but osteo damaged. Hope they have calmed down and your RD is under control.

Oh bless you but they look painful. I do hope they have calmed down since you took the picture. Luckily, my hands have never puffed up that badly (touch wood) and are permanently cold. The feet and ankles are another story. Wishing you better

Yes Thankyou my feet have never bothered me , but if it's like my hands it must be terrible, I struggle to dress an wash when it's on the right had it on my knee , at least we can compare notes and not feel so isolated when we have all these lovely people round us for support x

Given the choice - as if - I reckon arthritic hands are worse than feet. If push comes to shove I've got the wheelchair (aka the chariot of wrath) and I can still enjoy my handicrafts as well as dealing with personal care myself. Rotten nasty disease. You're right, this forum is a lifesaver. Hugs

Ouch! It does hurt so much. And If you try to carry on it just gets worse doesnt it? Then you cant use your hand, elbow, shoulderetc... at all. I hope your hand is easing? X

Oh that looks so painful 😖! I remember mine being like that and having to wrap them in ice packs - can’t do anything when like that of course!

I hope all is better now. That looks so painful. No one understands unless they’re in it too.

My feet are my more painful area. Hard to walk. Gaining weight and daughter says get up use the treadmill. Which, of course, is too painful. But I do need to do something any ideas would be appreciated.

Ouch well and truly 🙈 hope it is better now? I am dreading ra getting worse, I hope the mtx & hydroxy can keep it at bay for me, I was diagnosed 18 months ago and touch wood things have settled with the dmards.

When were you diagnosed? Does yr meds keep most of it at bay? It’s just a bit scary not knowing what to expect.

Big hugs to everyone 🤗🤗 xx
