As silly as it is that's everything covered,I cannot tAke any arthritis drug including MTX haves been like this since October,as I still have a ungoing infection!! The same one which hospitalized me in October,have had strict instructions from Doctor to see them around 28/12 if pain and stuff hasn't gone, by then,so no booze over Christmas,I don't drink as such,I believe half a glass once every 6/8 weeks doesn't really class a major problem,lol just would of enjoyed a couple of beers on Christmas day. Such is life,you roll the dice and take what comes.

Anyway I will take this opportunity to wish everyone a joyous Noel and a pain Free time. Love and hugs to all

Oh my goodness you have be run through the mill but thankfully you have an awesome sense of humor despite the pain. I truly wish you the best and pray you can get your infection under control so you can resume treatment. There's nothing worse than trying to chase symptoms with pain meds because you cannot treat the underlying condition. Take good care!

I am unable to take any RA medications either. I can take pain medication but I'd rather not, as long as I can. After having some dental work done & had to take some then, they effect me far differently than they used to. I took them for joint pain & pain on right side of abdomen prior to RA diagnosis. They never made me whoozy before but do now. I don't like a virtigo feeling at all.

Now I take 600 mg of ibuprophen or aspirin & combine it with topical rubs(Bio-Freeze or TigerBalm). Hot tubs are the best joint relaxers ever! For about 45 minutes I'm not stiff at any pivot point on my body & was able to get to sleep with much less pain. I need to own one! Lol!
