NRAS Group Meetings— Week Commencing 4th June 2018

Bolton NRAS Group

2018 meetings will take place on the first Tuesday of each month (February - December) at Bolton One, Moor Road, Bolton, BL3 5BN from 2.00pm-4.00pm.

5th June - Guest speaker: Simon Stones, Researcher in Child & Family Health

Chesterfield NRAS Group

2018 group meetings are to be held in the Tesco Community Room, Tesco Extra Clay Cross, Bridge Street North, Clay Cross, Chesterfield, S45 9NU on the first Tuesday of each month from 6:30pm-8:00pm.

5th June - The Chesterfield Group meeting on 5th June will be a ‘support & social’ Tea Party! Tea or coffee and cake will be available to enjoy. Specialist diets will be catered for. Family & friends are welcome to join us for what is usually a lively evening. If you have any gadgets, gizmos, aids, or tips that you find helpful and are willing to share with others, please bring them along.

Gloucester NRAS Group

From 2018 the group will meet four times a year at a NEW venue - 2&6 Therapy Rooms, Wainbridge House, Shepherd Road, Gloucester, GL2 5EL. NEW times: 7:00pm - 8:30pm. FREE parking, FREE refreshments and ACCESSIBLE facilities.

Tuesday 5th June – Benefits of Physiotherapy

North West NI NRAS Group

Meetings are held quarterly in Lecture Theatre 1 in the MDEC/Trust HQ building at Altnagelvin Area Hospital, Glenshane Road, Londonderry BT47 6SB from 7pm - 8:30pm.

Tuesday 5th June - 'A taster evening of holistic treatments/therapies beneficial for RA'.

Guest therapists include: Tracy, from Enigma Therapies, Monica, from Grace & Favour, Irene, from Enesia Treatments, Judy, from Infinity Reiki and more on the evening. Treatments will include: Reflexology, Lavender Hand & Feet Reiki Massage, Thai Foot Massage, Energy Balancing and much, much more!

West Middlesex NRAS Group

This group meets at Hillingdon Baptist Church Halls, Patterson Room, Hercies Road, Uxbridge, Middlesex, UB10 9LS (to access the nearest car park go in to Auriol Drive and follow the road to the car park at rear). Meetings run from

2:00pm - 4:00pm quarterly on a Thursday.

7th June - Guest speaker: Jane Wiggins from Hillingdon Carers

Isle of Wight NRAS Group

Bi-monthly meetings are held at Laidlaw Day Hospital, St Mary's Hospital Campus, Dodnor Lane, Newport, Isle of Wight, PO30 5TG on a Thursday from 7:00pm - 9:00pm.

Thursday 7th June - Guest Speaker: Mark from Age UK, talking about the charity and the services they provide.

You, your family, friends and healthcare professionals are all very welcome to attend and you don’t have to be a member of NRAS to attend a group meeting!
