Please find details below of the NRAS Group meetings taking place next week:

NRAS Group Meetings— Week Commencing 20th February 2017

Medway NRAS Group

Future meetings of the Medway NRAS Group are taking place in the Blue Room at Gillingham Methodist Church, 100 Third Avenue, Gillingham, Kent, ME7 2LU (unfortunately, there is no car park but on street parking close by is available) every other month on a Monday from 7pm-9pm.

20th February - Guest speaker: Colin Baldock, Orthopaedic Practitioner and Physiotherapist will present: 'Gentle Exercises & Relaxation'

Hertfordshire NRAS Group

Quarterly meetings are held at Welwyn Civic Centre, Prospect Place, Welwyn AL6 9ER on a Tuesday from 7:00pm-8:30pm.

21st February - Guest speaker: Fay Sanderson of Hertfordshire Partnership, Access Lead for the NHS Hertfordshire Wellbeing Service which offers psychological support and therapies to people with long-term health conditions such as RA. Plus, Colin Hill from Hertfordshire Health Walks will also be speaking.

Oldham NRAS Group

The Oldham NRAS Group hold meetings once every other month from 7:00pm-8:30pm at The Link Centre, Union St, Oldham OL1 1DZ.

Tuesday 21st February - Guest speaker: Podiatrist, Nancy Mittelmajer from Pennine Acute Hospitals Trust will present: 'Footwear and insoles available for people with rheumatoid arthritis: exploring the options combining style with comfort'

Pembury and Tunbridge Wells NRAS Group

NRAS Volunteer Members co-ordinate this group and hold their bi-monthly meetings at Langton Green Village Hall, Speldhurst Road, TN3 0JJ on a Thursday from 2:00pm to 4:00pm.

23rd February - Guest speaker: Dr Pamela Leventis, Consultant Rheumatologist will be talking about all aspects of bone health, including osteoporosis

West Dorset NRAS Group

2017 meetings will be held at the Dorchester Community Church Meeting Room, Acland Road, Dorchester, Dorset, DT1 1EF on the 4th Thursday of every other month from 7:00-8:30pm.

23rd February - Guest speaker: Sheena Colhoun, Senior Hand Therapist at Dorset County Hospital

Wirral NRAS Group

The Wirral area NRAS group meet at Asda Arrowe Park Superstore, Woodchurch Road, CH49 5PD on the last Thursday of every month from 7:00pm - 9:00pm. (Please go to the customer services desk where someone will show you to the meeting room).

You, your family, friends and healthcare professionals are all very welcome to attend and you don’t have to be a member of NRAS to attend a group meeting!

I have just been informed that their first meeting will take place on 30th March 7-8:30 at the Haywood Hospital.
