The group meetings being held this week are:

Oldham NRAS Group

Meetings are held at St John's Ambulance Headquarters, Busk Road, off Ellen Street, Oldham, OL9 6QY on a Tuesday in every second month from 7:00pm-8:30pm unless otherwise stated.

Dates and speakers for 2013

18th June - Carol Hall, from the Disability Living Centre in Manchester will be giving a talk on the service they provide to the public.

30th July - Jill Firth, from MSK in Oldham will be giving a talk on medications for Rheumatoid Arthritis

17th September - Toni Bolton, from Cleaning Services will be giving a talk on how they can provide help for elderly and vulnerable people

19th November

10th December

Cambridge NRAS Group

2013 meetings will be held at Arbury Community Centre, (corner of) Campkin Road/Arbury Road, Cambridge, CB4 2LD on a Wednesday, unless otherwise stated below.

Meeting dates and speakers for 2013

19th June 3:00-5:00pm - A member of the specialist Occupational Therapy team at Addenbrooke’s Hospital will be giving a talk on equipment that can help protect our joints and increase independence.

21st August 3:30-5:30pm - Dr. Shenker, Consultant Rheumatologist at Addenbrooke's Hospital will be talking on 'Pain Management with RA'

West Middlesex, Bucks & Berks NRAS Group - Uxbridge

Hillingdon Baptist Church Halls, Patterson Room, Hercies Road, Uxbridge, Middx, UB10 9LS . Meetings run from 2:00pm - 4:00pm on a Thursday.

Plymouth NRAS Group

Phil & Susan co-ordinate this group and call themselves PADRAGS (Plymouth & District Rheumatoid Arthritis Group Support). Meetings are held in the Health Education Room at Mount Gould Hospital, Plymouth PL4 7QD from 1:00pm - 3:00pm (unless otherwise stated).

I have just spoken to the group coordinator and she has said they haven't got a speaker this time so it will just be a social gathering for anyone that wants to come along.

Oxford NRAS Group

This group is co-ordinated by Sue with the support of the Rheumatology Team. Meetings are held in the OC Conference Room at the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre, Windmill Road, Oxford, OX3 7LD on Tuesdays every second month at 6:30pm to 8:00pm unless otherwise stated. Look for the NRAS direction posters to the room.
