I have finally had my ACDF done and wow immediate relief from all the pain and arm and hand numbness. No collar, no restrictions apart from driving for a bit while on heavy meds. I am really surprised. Registrar reckons I can go back to work in two weeks. I think that is a little optimistic on the part of the registrar who discharged me and never met me before and had no idea of my background. I will wait until I see my GP I think regarding that one.

That’s a great update , im so pleased you are feeling good after major surgery. I think you are right about being careful about how much you do, it is best to be careful. Best wishes for the future, onwards and upwards 🌸🌸🌸🌸

Thank you Hatshepsut. No I am not listening to the registrar she was a very arrogant young woman who thought she knew it all. I will be going back when I feel I am well enough to do so.
