Is the nerve pain your main concern or do you have rheumatoid arthritis ?

Not sure I've been dealing with nerve pain down my left side ever since I went for a pain injection shot back in 2015 , and ever since that pain nerve went away

Hello Bela, you obviously have been through the mill for a long time now. It doesn't sound as if your care team is very good at looking at you holistically.

As we're all lay people on this site, we can't give medical advice. I wish you find a treatment that will help you with your pain very soon. All the best.

I think your weight gain, anxiety and Irritability could be down to the steroids, especially if you are on a high dose.

I guess the first thing is to have them figure out what is actually wrong, but man.... three back surgeries makes me shudder just to think...

One of the things that might help you when you go to your Doc next time is to keep a daily diary with your pain levels several times a day, pictures of swelling, and just any other information you can record. Then take it with you to the Docs to give you talking points and maybe it will help them figure out what is going on with you... Best of luck and gentle hugs
