Shoulder

So I had my scan on my shoulder it showed wear and tear so I presume that’s arthritis then it was agony

You have my sympathy. Arthritic pain in the shoulder is the absolute pits! I once had RA pain in both shoulders. Couldn't put even the slightest pressure on them. It was hell trying to sleep, even sitting up. This was about 3 years ago and it lasted for a good few weeks. I still have trouble now but nothing like that. I pray it never returns.

Hope it eases soon.

I´m so sorry! My left shoulder was the worse of my arthritic pains...I couldn´t sleep, I couldn´t practically move. But after some weeks of starting my treatment, the pain subsided and I started to see things more positively. It came back once or twice (especially if I overdo it..it happens a lot to me) but never as paralyzing as before. Try not to despair!! I really hope it´s over soon!!!

Sorry to hear this, really hope the pain eases soon. Unfortunately my shoulders have started hurting recently, hurt to touch and feels like someone is pinching my shoulders so hard. Not fun! Xx

I think I have RA in my shoulders as they are painful when I lie on them. I do take something to help me sleep 💤 so only a problem before I fall asleep 😴

I suffered 3 months with a frozen shoulder trying to still work. In the end I had a sub cranial decompression op. They shaved a bit of my shoulder off and was so comfortable. Was key hole day surgery and was in and out of hosp in no time. Best thing ever done. If pain persists, go back to rheumy and push them on other options available. Take care xxxx
