Has anyone had success with healing of inguinal hernia naturally without surgery? Heard comfrey poultices have had good results. Anyone used them?

Sorry, I haven't heard of that. My father in law opted not to have surgery, and just used a truss. However it did cause him continual discomfort. I can't quite see how a poultice would have any effect, as it is a weakness in the muscle wall so a mechanical thing.

A hernia is due to a gap, through which something else sticks out. I can't see how comfrey would help the muscle to plug the gap. It's often congenital so that you are born with the gap. Strengthening the muscles and building them up might, I suppose, help to reduce the gap, but there is a risk then, that you might push more of the stuff behind the muscle out and keep it open...

Merely supplemental information:

Haven’t heard of Comfrey Poultices for inguinal hernia but have heard (in passing) for healing ‘bone & tissue’ and as a cream on ‘sunburn’, Onio. 🤔

[Heard about from Andrea ( paddisonprogram.com/rheumat... ) , the gal I learned to make Sauerkraut from. 😋 ]

Andrea makes her own homemade poultices, creams, tea from Comfrey leaves 🍃 & says they’ve worked well for her wrist joint 👍 , sunburn ☀️☄️. . . — nothing about hernias though.

Sorry 🙏 this isn’t much help, Onio, but Comfrey Poultices as healers is interesting. 🤔 [Haven’t a clue as to how effective it could be for a hernia. 🤷‍♀️ 🤷‍♂️ ]

Thx for your suggestions and best wishes Kai. New to H. Unlocked so helpful. I'm also exploring stem cell treatment for hernias.

Can you afford to wait that long ⏳⌛️ , Onio? 🤔

If so, can you then ’afford’ 💷💶💴💵 it? 🤔

[ google.com/search?as_q=stem... ]

My (over) simple understanding is anything with "stem cell" ⚗️ attached to it can be out of reach 💰💰 of so many of us not only financially — but not ready for ‘the masses’ (of us) until ‘the future’ 🛸 ? 🤔 [Not that’s there’s anything wrong with ‘going for it’ if it’s within one’s means & time frame. 😊 👍👍 ]

Continued good luck in finding what works well for you, Onio! 😌 🙏 🍀 🌺 🌞
