Hi everyone. I have had a letter from hospital. They are changing me over from Imraldi to Yuflyma and changing my deliveries from Sciensus to Personal Homecare Pharmacy. Has anyone else had this? Or has anyone had experience of the drug or delivery company? Just when Sciensus were improving 🤨
Change of meds and delivery company : Hi everyone. I... - NRAS
Change of meds and delivery company
Sorry, I don’t know of your new meds company or of the new biosimilar, but I do agree Sciensus are improving (for me anyhow and it’s been fine for 2 years after a complaint re a very rude delivery driver.) I just get a text every 3 months and they never forget (touchwood) and if I don’t want that delivery date I reply and say so and when is best for me. Working well. I hope your changeover to the new biosimilar goes well too.
Are you doing well on imraldi and don't want to switch? They should of discussed this with you first, NICE guidelines state this. I agree with Neonkittie about Sciensus they have really improved in the last few months.
Don't think Leicester hospitals give a stuff about NICE guidelines. They changed me from Humira to Imraldi without any consultation. NICE guidelines say you are supposed to be seen every 6 months if on biologicals yet my last appointment was last August after not being seen for 3 years! I'm fine on Imraldi. I'd like to know reasons for the change. It's odd that they have changed the biological and delivery company at the same time.
I was told several years ago I was going to be switched from enbrel to a biosimilar drug, I wasn't happy at all because I was doing so well on enbrel. I did my research, costings etc. (there's not much saving at all). I then typed up notes stating what I'd found out, costings etc, stated NICE guidelines and gave very valid reasons why I was refusing to be switched and handed them in for my consultant to read. I'm happy to say I'm still on enbrel.
yes, I had the letter about 3 months ago. Never had a problem with Sciensus, be interesting to see how the new company does 🤷♀️
I used to have bad problems with Sciensus but the past few months they had gotten better. Maybe they upped their game because the contract was due for renewal or something. I'm worried about when these new ones will deliver. Sciensus deliver on Saturdays and evenings but seeing website of Personal Homecare Pharmacy it seems they only do daytime deliveries 8am-6pm and don't give 2hr time slot til day of delivery. I work mornings.
I’ve also had a letter about changing drugs and suppliers and also notification from sciencus that they will be delivering a smaller quantity but more frequently! See how it all pans out !!
