Skin sores and RA

Hiya all hope your well, I was just wondering if anyone gets skin sores whilst in a flare? I have horrendous swelling at the minute but as well as that I have a really sore, skin sore round my hip joint and in the crack of my leg does anyone gets this ?

It it over the swelling of skin? Like puffy skin and sore on top? I do get it.

It’s is red raw looks a bit like a chaff but it’s not ! It’s also weepy it’s so bizarre.xx

I saw my GP yesterday who thinks my under bust and crack sores are likely fungal. She prescribed 2 separate scripts in order to treat each site independently with a steroid cream for 2 weeks (kept refrigerated) followed by another without steroid for a further 2 weeks.

In your best interests you’re recommended to visit your doctor. 🔜

I get them under my busy sometimes as well but this crack of the leg one since I have been in a flare xxx

When I flare, my skin gets super weird. It's dry but blistery at the joints that are causing trouble. The blisters and swelling lead to cracks, then the skin gets dry & peels off. Awesome, right? It's super itchy and painful. I even get some of this on my ears and around my nose and mouth during a flare. Nothing really helps. I just have to try to take care of myself until the flare up settles down and then it goes away.

I get bruises and sore skin however this’s leg is terrible I am in a flare and it’s not going away hopefully have an emergency flare clinic appointment xx
