I have stayed home this morning and come 11am i will stand for the 2mins silence. I have the tv on with stories from servicemen/woman and veterans which is lovely. I have got the chicken ready for dinner and i have peeled the root vegetables which i found very difficult. So my fingers hurt and i have took some painkillers and now i am resting and watching the tv.
My dh and d,daughter Bob and Grace. She is leading the parade this morning in Nuneaton and my dh is laying a wreath.
God bless all our servicemen and women and veterans and God bless our Queen.xxx

I was with my son painting his new home and we stood silent for 2 minutes. I feel it is such a little thing for the sacrifice of all we lost in every war. I have seen your posts many times on this site and I thank you for taking the time to think of others when I know you have much to be concerned about yourself. God bless you and yours. xx
Hi Sylvi I did same watched the service last night and also the one this morning, very moving and being an ex serviceman was very humbled to the men and women who gave their lives so we could be here today xxx
Im sure all veterans and serving military personnel will be grateful for your comments and actions, as a vet myself Im so proud that we are not forgotten as my son is a serving soldier just like I was and so is my son-in law
