I am still waiting for my husbands plan to pre-approve dental surgery. I have had this abscess for months. I had decided to continue MTX injections until it was corrected but gave up last week. The injections just make me feel ill. I feel bad enough already. The other stalemate is GO. He relocated to Vancouver three years again which is now a problem. I am not well enough to drive so have gone for weeks with no pain meds. I am allergic to Naproxen so cannot take NSAIDS.
What should I do? It seems pointless to take opiates that do little to help but cause side effects. I measure biometrics via Fitbit, my ehealth etc I have noticed a significant reduction in activity. I also have significantly less sleep. I am concerned that I am doing harm.
I have made significant lifestyle changes but have not seen any benefits as yet.
What do pain management units do?
