Afternoon everyone of you lovely people. I have been on holiday with my hubby to Skegness for a week. I went with a chest infection so it has been difficult, but lovely and we got out and about to some lovely places. We met a friend of ours who has moved back there so we got to spend some time with her as well. I didn't sleep too well different bed and all so i will look forward to my bed tonight. I think i will still have to see the dr as my chest hasn't cleared. I will say more tomorrow about my holiday as i am tired this afternoon.xxxxx

Hi sylvi , glad you enjoyed your holiday despite the chest infection. You might need another course of antibiotics and make sure to book the flu injection. Its always good to get back into your own bed , sleep well tonight 🌸🌸

So pleased you had a good time and are back safely.

Being in different surroundings really blows all the cobwebs away and is good for the soul.

We went to Rye earlier in the year and the bed In our room was so awful, like a rock, hard and lumpy I had to sleep in the chair the whole weekend 😴 Still enjoyed it.

Great photo btw!

Hi Sylvi,

Can I ask if you stop taking your meds when you've got a chest infection? I've been struggling now for a week with one, I did my mtx injection last night and feel really rough today.

Good old Skeggy eh, used to go when I was young. But I know what you mean about being in your own bed!

Glad you had a lovely break. Sorry about the chest infection. My surgery don't start flu jabs until October.

Hope you have a lovely sleep. It's always best in your own bed. It's a shame you can't take it with you when holidaying

So glad you enjoyed your holiday, Sylvi. The chest infection doesn't sound good. I agree with what you said about different beds. We're staying in my sister's house and our bed isn't very comfortable but the best of the lot. I went round like Goldilocks, trying each one. This morning I have pain in my shoulder blades and ribs!
