Cimzia? Help !

Hello everyone,

I was diagnosed with Anklosing Spondylitis a few months ago...My specialist prescribed Enbrel, but for some reason my insurance denied it, so he then prescribed Cimzia injections. I am scheduled to get my first injection this Friday and I was wondering what the side effects are, if any? I am very active in the gym and would hate to gain any weight, is this a possibility???

Not seen any weight gain related to Cimzia. Been on it for nearly 3 years now.

Hi - I have cimzia injections. At first, with my 'loading doses', I had a bit of a funny feeling in my throat. It wasn't really swollen, but I took an antihistamine which helped. Other than that, all has been ok.
