But at least while my back was turned for two minutes, some wonderfully kind beings decided to not let it go to waste....or are they just keeping it warm?? π€But how considerate, eh?! ππ»πΆπ
All I've got to do know is move the crafty buggers so I can wrap myself up while I wait for more painkillers to try and kick inπ

That looks like my bed but two dogs. I have a Chihuahua and a Havanese . They barely make room for me lol π Sure hope you have better luck with painkillers. Due to genetic mutations I process opiates very quickly. This means they are not very effective but at least no concerns about dependence haha. I find the most effective remedy is cannabis. I use a vaporizer which keeps it to body , like muscle relaxer. It simply distracts you so that you do not focus on pain. "If you don't mind, it won't matter." This why children deal with pain more readily tan adults, or so I am told.
It must have been " one of those " nights. I am very fortunate & can usually sleep well....but last night not a wink...just a head full of cotton wool. & every time I turned over the room started spinning!
Going back to bed with a cup of tea now & to heck if I sleep the day away! I wish!
Hi AgedCrone , I already beat you to it.... apart from getting up briefly, through weeping eyes because of how sore and tired they were, just to feed the dog ,and garden birds(need something to amuse the cats while I'm planning on doing nothing all dayπ) I've never actually got up today - and if anyone dares to ring the doorbell,I'm going to be a rebel and just pretend I'm not inπ X
I've currently got my own central heating going on at the minute.... I've got the front room windows wide open so that the cats can come and go as they pls while I'm upstairs hopefully passed out π΄π€π
Here's hoping all goes well for your next infusion, and that you also get your much needed sleep today x
Thanks all - I knew I wouldn't be alone. I think this is deep into my third week of what feels like sleeping 24/7,when infact I sleep all day,and at night just doze on and off, dependant of the relevant pain I'm having at the time - I've even missed my weekly Physio for the past fortnight because I just couldn't guarantee I'd be awake at the time she had appointments for(8 and 8.30pm... do people not know that's way past my jamma and night time pill regime?! π) I was just dozing a few moments ago when I dropped the remote in my hand onto the floor as I was dropping off.... it's amazing how loud it sounds in the early hours.... and I've yet to find anything to watch on the telly, just find the light's easier on the eye instead of having the overhead lights on !! Think this is it for me for the night now, plus I've got the wonderful feeling of yet another cold starting..... the joys of being constantly run down and tired - off for a hot choccie and marshmallow drink.... there's got to be some perks to have an all singing all dancing machine sitting downstairs.... plus that'll give the other crafty cat time to find her place amongst the rest π
Here's wishing you all a restful night(what's left of it) and a brighter tomorrow
Nicki xx
This phoro made me smile. You cats & dog love you soo much they wanted to warm up your bed.......BUT....they slept with a blacket set up like a boarder wall between them
The boundary was actually from where I'd got out to go for a p(that's why there's s cat missing.... she was 'keeping me company' in there too...and then lo and behold I get back to the bedroom to find this.... great to know they love you soooo much π X
I have the same issue but I have no furry critters to keep me company any more. We aren't allowed to have them where we live now. Sad. Hope you have a better night
Ito me a house is not a home without animals,so I made damn sure it was written into my lease that I could keep a certain number of cats... the dog was a treat to try and get my health back in the form of walking late last year, but judging by the way the landlord couldn't believe the set up I had in place for my cats(own bedroom of towers and sofa bed, plus enclosed garden, and shed with heating and water so they could watch birds from behind the privacy glass.... yep,he thinks I'm mad tooπ) I don't think he'll have an issue with a dog that'll only ever be 1/3rd of the cats size π X
There was another cat missing from the pic,and that's because she was busy keeping me company/safe while I was having a p,otherwise she would've been spread across the whole of the bed, regardless of who that meant lying across at the time ππ»
